New to the area and thought I would try a nice, local family-owned restaurant. The lamb was perfect. And the rest of the ingredients were very fresh. But It's not likely that I'll return. Most of the staff was somewhat pleasant but I felt more like I was at a truck stop when my waitress yelled my order into the kitchen and then topped her delivery of my Gyro with the check.

I come 2-3 times a week. Great service. Awesome food and excellent prices and specials. All you can eat fish fry on Friday is a great choice.

Food is good but not outstanding. Service was spotty. Slow to refill coffee cups and got the order wrong. The price is right, however.

Here we go with another mediocre review. I don't mean to be harsh but this place was not good. Compared with other similar operations in the area this one falls to the bottom of the list. They have been around for some time and have a following. I guess there are a number of gastronomically challenged people out there. I ordered lasagna. It tasted like it was covered with canned sauce. My daughters pasta Alfredo was likewise smothered with a canned gooey mess that could not be doctored with a ton of Parmesan cheese. The service was lackluster. I would strongly urge seekers of good food to try elsewhere-at least for dinner. I have not had breakfast there but I understand it is noteworthy. Perhaps I'll try it one day. By the way, yes it's an older crowd but so are the patrons at every other restaurant in town. If you have an aversion to elder exposure you may need to relocate. At least I don't have to worry about the crime here. If we did have crime it would occur very slowly.

Fabulous breakfast spot! Place either sneaks up on you or, much likelier, I was lax in my navigational copilot duties this morning. Quaint little Greek restaurant with extensive breakfast food offerings and inexpensive prices. Chose the Olympia omelet today-three eggs with lots of gyro meat, tziziki, onions, tomatoes, and feta cheese and a side of either grits or home fries. Also comes with toast but I handed that off to the old man. Rich buttery taste in both the omelet and the home fries and unlimited coffee refills make this place a must visit for any breakfast lover

Dropped in for a bite before noon and was surprised to find the place almost full. I say "surprised" because the immediate parking outside the place is limited and didn't agree with the volume of people inside. The restaurant has a pretty good luncheon menu that brings 'em in. I got a Gyro, which is not a lunch special, and I have to concur with one of the other reviews - the Gyro's here are very good! First off, the meat was tender and properly sliced from the roll. None of that overcooked outer "crust" of salty meat was served. The Pita was one of the thicker, fluffier kinds & cooked just right. Good Tzatziki sauce topped it off. It was the best I'd had in years. This is a nice "homey" sort of place. The waitresses are nice and on the ball. They'll chat a bit with you, but were pretty busy during this lunch. There are several pasta specials that looked pretty good when being eaten, and 2 different patrons spontaneously told the waitresses how good the dishes were. I am sure those folks would have grumbled if it had been bad.

Discrimination. My husband and myself had to wait for Greek patrons to be seated before us even though we had been waiting. Left went to Bob Evans and breakfast was very good there.

We stopped in Olympia for a quick lunch. This place is known for their cheap meals and big portions. Boy they were not lying on the portions! My parents had to pack up half their lunches because they could not finish their meals. I recommend their greek/house specials. I got the Gyro wrap and it was delish. I got the tomato cabbage as a starter and it was the right amount of tomato tart to cabbage. The slovaki dinner is worth ordering as well. I would like to try their breakfast specials the next time around. Stop by for a hearty meal when you are in the Port Charlotte area!

This place has THE BEST GYROS IN TOWN! I plan to eat here today on my bday. I live outside the area and traveled to PC to celebrate my bday. I love this place my daughter LOVES THE chicken noodle soup! The waitresses make you feel like family and the setting is very homey. Something about this place. From the outside it doesn't look great and it's not in the beat part of town!

Let's say you're stuck in or around Port Charlotte - with a starving family of four and a complete and total disdain for chain restaurants of any kind. Here's your answer. Big menu - really big menu. Well seasoned waitresses. Early bird crowd but isn't this area entirely comprised of the Early Bird set? Stick to the Greek items and you'll be pleased.

If you have read my reviews I don't hand out complements. This is a good Greek restaurant. Yes it has the extensive menu, but for some reason is not overwhelming. I had a traditional Gyro , Lisa had the slouvka (sp) over rice and soup. Good size portions - don't worry guys... Lisa had enough for a leftover box. Specials every day... We will definitely go back and try breakfast and from this experience could see it as a regular lunch haunt. Yes it's an older crowd .... this is a great value, clean and decent service. I drive the blue pick-up truck.

I don't understand the lackluster reviews but I've been here so many times and their food has always been consistently great! I always stick with my favorite: the roast turkey meal (with mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce and the vegetable of the day) and have never been disappointed! I love the price, $7.99, which includes bread, soup or salad, the entree and dessert (rice, tapioca or chocolate pudding)! Great price and nice waitresses, especially our favorite, Debbie! Highly recommended for great homemade food at a great price! Pretty much the only great restaurant in Port Charlotte. Of course older people come here because Port Charlotte is mostly an older folks town anyway.

I wouldn't think of coming for anything but breakfast. I have come for breakfast for years and they couldn't do anything better. The potatoes are outstanding and the meal is served just as you ask and really quickly. I usually want the Greek (spinach and feta) omelette. You just have to trust that I have exquisite taste and really know what to order. They have a pretty good tsaziki sauce and always bring ketchup. While the carrot cake looks adorable, I would only look.
